Soil chromatography: Dona Morta Dalt
The overall impression of the soil chroma of Dona Morta Dalt indicates fertile soil. The chroma has a complex pattern and is bright with yellow, gold and cream colouration.
The channels penetrate all zones and multiple spikes have developed. This indicates high amounts of nutrients and humus. One concentric ring is visible. It is clearly separated. The brown colouration accumulates at the end of the median zone and is disconnected from the more inner median zone. This is an indicator for an excess of soluble minerals and an imbalance between nutrients and humus.
The central zone is yellow almost white. Yellow is the ideal color and indicates healthy soil. However, white indicates a high presence of nitrogen. This could be an indicator of the use of raw organic fertilizers (f.e. animal excrement).
