MEDstone, a congress funded by the European Commission, produced several publications on dry stone walls in the Mediterranean. The publications were coordinated by Michele de Rosa and they provide valuable information about the regional technologies of dry stone construction, terracing and drainage. This system structures the landscape around Senan, so these books are very helpful, especially since they contain careful drawings and link the stone construction methods to the local geology. Unfortunately the website associated with the congress is not maintained.
